Egle Janulionyte

Eglė Janulionytė
Head designer and business owner

My name is Egle Janulionyte. I was born and raised in Klaipeda, near the Baltic Sea, in Lithuania. I grew up in a family of artists with my mother working as an advertisement and stage designer and my father as a stage decorator at the Musical Theater of Klaipeda for over two decades. Design, you might say is in my DNA. With my parents encouragement I am on the search for imagination and creative solutions.

In 2012 I graduated from Erfurt University of Applied Sciences in Germany with a Landscape architecture (Bachelor of Engineering) degree. As part of my studies, I completed a 6 month period of practical training with Woodland landscapes in Sydney, Australia. I thoroughly enjoyed my training in Australia and I am totally captivated by the nature, light and colour of the country, it has inspired my design work greatly. This inspiration has led me to be currently living and working in Narrawallee, on the South Coast of NSW.

My design process reaches from the initial design motivations and inspirations to the practical structural realisation.

Functionality, style, distinction, but most importantly the harmony of the architecture and the nature – this is my core design principle forming the basis of all my work.

Please feel free to correspond with me in either English, German or Lithuanian languages.
